WebApr 25, 2015 · Posted April 23, 2015. Be careful getting too aggressive--remember the cylinder is turned by the hand pushing on the extractor ratchet lugs. You can goof up the timing if you take away too much of the engagement between the cylinder and the extractor star points. No need to get carried away with it. Peter Mike did my 625 as part of his package. Clark Custom Guns (Miculek's in laws) did my 627 and a model 66. I think it was $35-40 per cylinder. That was over a year ago, might be higher now.

A de-burring tool perhaps followed by a little rub with say 80 grit would also work and might be possible without disassembly for access and with care would leave no grindings that would require disassembly. Only a slight chamfer is necessary.
