WebI have all graphics set to low with FPS limit at 60 on 4K. GPU is at 99% utilization (expected), but temp is at 94 degrees C consistent. I dont recall a game ever running my 1080 that hot. I have a full size case with 1x, 230mm, 3x 200mm, 3x 120mm fans all cranked up on max. The side fan blows directly on the GPU. WebIn the case of an overheating graphics card, the system might switch off, but after a moment or two should be able to be turned on again. Even if the card is damaged, it should not affect the machine from switching on. The problem is in my mind absolutely the PSU. Also try read the answers to this similar question.
