The Clearfield colony is about 10 miles south of town, but the Greenwald colony is east of Winnipeg, Manitoba, more than 500 miles north of here. Hutterites, Mennonites and Amish share common religious roots. Greenwald is located about 20 minutes north of Beausejour, Manitoba, Canada, nestled along the banks of the Brokenhead River.
