Web11 DESCRIPTION. CAMPTOSAR Injection (irinotecan hydrochloride injection) is an antineoplastic agent of the topoisomerase I inhibitor class. CAMPTOSAR is supplied as a sterile, pale yellow, clear, aqueous solution. Webthe irinotecan parent compound. It may be accompanied by other cholinergic symptoms such as rhinitis, hypersalivation, miosis, lacrimation, diaphoresis, flushing, and abdominal cramping. The cholinergic syndrome is more likely to occur at higher irinotecan dose levels and associated with the onset of peak irinotecan plasma levels.
