WebFeb 3, 2024 · Carmen Duncan, who played Iris Wheeler on Another World from 1988-1994 has died from cancer. The Australian-born actress was 76. Duncan had been receiving care at St Vincent’s Sacred Heart Health Service in Sydney. In Carmen’s publicized and harrowing health journey, she had previously beat cancer three times. WebIris had moved from Bay City to Houston, Texas when she was looking for her son, Dennis. During that time, she ran into her former husband, Eliot Carrington (played most notably by Daniel Davis). Also making the move to Houston with her mistress was her maid, Vivien Gorrow (Gretchen Oehler).
